Welcome to the Southwest District!

We are very glad you have found us.  The SWD serves the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas in the General Conference of the Church of God, GC COG7. We are actively engaged in Transforming the Vision of a Vibrant 21st Century Church into Reality. We are a Christ-Centered, Grace-Oriented, Sabbath-Celebrating Church teaching the harmony of grace and truth, committed to keeping the Great Commandments as described by Christ Jesus in our duty towards God and man, and devoted to accomplishing the Great Commission given to the disciples and passed along to us. The GC COG7 is a great place to engage, grow, and go to work in the Kingdom cause of Jesus Christ.  If you are already a believer and looking for a place to join in the Body of Christ, we hope you will join us.  If you are not yet a disciple of Jesus Christ and searching to fill the spiritual void in your life, please do contact us. In the SWD, Leaders unite for the common vision of becoming A Vibrant 21st Century Church.  Teams are built to assist local churches develop in-reach and out-reach ministries for disciples to be good stewards of the gift of the Holy Spirit they have received.

Joy, hope, peace, and grace are reasonable expectations in the believer’s life, when salvation in Christ Jesus is your reality and the convictions of one’s conscience can become a living sacrifice in ministry to God and man.

Finding and fulfilling one’s purpose and mission adds priceless quality and value to life.
